Master Barber Course
This course prepares the student for the State Board Examination and for salon work by providing a minimum of 1500 clock hours of classroom demonstrations and clinical practice.

The Master Barber Program at Performance Beauty Academy is designed for individuals who want to build a successful career in one of the fastest-growing segments of the beauty and grooming industry.
This Tennessee State Board approved program provides comprehensive training in both the technical and business aspects of barbering, preparing students with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in today’s professional barbershops, salons, and grooming establishments. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on experience, students gain practical knowledge while working under the guidance of experienced instructors.
Students receive extensive training in haircutting, clipper techniques, fades, tapers, beard design, shaving, hair styling, coloring services, scalp treatments, sanitation, safety procedures, and client consultation.
The curriculum also covers important topics such as anatomy, skin and scalp care, barbering laws and regulations, product knowledge, customer service, and business fundamentals. By learning both classic barbering techniques and modern trends, graduates are prepared to meet the evolving needs of today’s clients.
